Ford efi idle screw adjustment process. i know there is a bronco website that has just recently mentioned the process in detail but i cant post the link.
the high idle at startup could be your Throttle Position Sensor going out. Its located under the throttle body you need to take it off to replace it. All your symtoms point to that.
do you guys think i should buy an iac valve and tps or do you think i should by a code reader first? im on a tight budget so i dont want to be buying thins that i dont need.
well the code reader is something you can use mutliple times and is an important troubleshooting tool. it will also help keep from throwing money at parts that dont need replaced.
those code readers are only 30 bucks and money well spent in my opinion. the book that comes with the reader has the codes in the back. the fordfuelinjection site is awesome and has plenty of info. good reference
