That's an old hot rod trick. Weld a bung and nozzle into the exhaust and spray a flammible liquid or gas in there. Just like holding a lighter and spraying bug or hairspray through it. You get a flamethrower.

Or you could just buy a first model 6.4

haha yea i wish my valves stuck open and came with flames strait from the factory . and yea i heard they use propane, but im sure u could use a lot of flamable stuff.

Why not put a hood stack on and turn the fuel up enough to throw flames that way?!?!

Yeah that truck is on the .org, he sprays propane in and light its with a spark plug!

Some of the old two stroke diesels would do that if had the fuel turned up and then went up high.

I had a Detroit Diesel back in 1979 that was set up at sea level on the east coast with some decent fueling rates.
Hammer down at anything over 8000 feet and it would blow about 2 or 3 feet of flame out of the stacks.

Sure made for a fun trip through the Rockies in the winter with all the snow looking orange.

Whats the old saying.............oh yea pics or it didnt happen. haha just kidding dave. Thats freaking awesome tho i would have followed u over the mnts just to watch that haha
