center console removal

I quickly played and found that the front cup holder can be removed by opening the console and prying up on the lip. The whole top piece comes off revealing two bolts in the front.

Close the lid and pry up on the rear cup holder which also just pops off.

This then allows you to pop the rear of the console off which provides access under the console. (BTW; there is a module under the main storage are of the console......don't drill)

It appears that it is bolted in the rear to the same place as the front seats.

Also, removing the top of the front cup holder does not provide access under the console. That is one moled piece!

Where is the second USB plug and does it require a special adapter? I would love to get my ipod hiddent so thieves can't look in the truck and see the cord?
