I had about 20 minutes to mess with the Rubi yesterday, I pulled off the drivers door and tried to fit the soft doors that Kenny brought home for me from Wichita, but 20 minutes wasn't enough to figure it out, to where I was happy with the seal, and how they close, so I put the hard doors back on, and will attempt it at another nice day. I need to spend a little more time with them to figure out all the adjustments.

I am about dead smack in the middle of a small project (installing a garage door opener) that I purchased and started right after thanksgiving. guess I am not in a huge hurry, plus it has been a little cold to work in the garage.

My grandfather always told me "slow and steady wins the race" and "hurry the heck up, I ain't gettin' no younger" so I dunno which way to go here.

Just got word that the Bullitt should be ready by the end of the week. Spoke to the guy that's gonna rebuild the three wheeler motor and he's ready to start working on it as soon as I get the gasket set. Tomorrow morning I'm heading to the tire store to get my drag radials mounted on my new wheels that came in today.

mowed the jungle today, first time this season, I been putting it off as much as possible, especially with work, and rain. on several occasions, we couldn't see the dog in the back yard due to the height of the dog, and the grass. it was bad.

I'm ahead of you. I need to mow mine the 2nd time already. That's what I get for using up some left over fertilizer that was taking up space in the garage.

We picked up a bunch of used wooden storage cabinets for free yesterday. Now I need to start going through the garage and basement and get them both cleaned up.

The shelving project on the south wall of my garage has been going pretty awesome. I'm about 2/3rd's done and now that I have the hang of it I should be finished by the end of the week. Then I will slap a coat of Kilz on there to seal it up and cover up any blemishes. After that I will start running wire from new outlets to the new breaker box to be terminated. Starting to look like a real shop in there

I also wired up an extra ceiling fan in the garage last night above the new south wall workbench. It's amazing how much air that 52" fan can move, should really cool down my summer projects!

I still haven't gotten the garage door opener installed, I was planning on it during my 2 week vacation, but after my wife's c section, she wouldn't let me out of her sight for that period of time.
Only thing I got done is cleaning up some large branches in the front yard that fell during a storm.
Speaking of that.. free firewood, and mulch to anyone who comes to get it.
