I got the new alternator on the Miata a little while ago. It was a pain figuratively and literally. Blood thinners and wrenching in tight places don't go together. I have about a 1000 bruises on my hands and arms. Also a little scratch bleeds like a stuck pig.
I finished off the new bearings and brakes for the car trailer, I need to do a trial run on it to test it before the trip, I did find a tire that was down to the steel cords so got it replaced quickly. The trailer is ready to go.
I got my little atc70 three wheeler all buttoned up and sold. We also made room in the garage so I can start working on my other three wheeler. Everything is back from powdercoater so I just need to start assembly.
Lots! I pulled this old metal cabinet from the trash. I was going to refinish it to match my toolbox but under the black spray paint I found some cool patina. So I decided to add some branding and try to patina it to match then cleared it all with 2k.
I also turned a free filing cabinet into a $8,000 crap-on box with some paint and an old badge. (People get a kick outa seeing it!)
Built a nee shelf in the window ledge in the garage-- 8 shelves total- holds all the nails and screws-- i needed a good place to put them.- finished the ship lap downstairs- so just hand the light and that project is done- have to pick up all the tools from down there (there is a lot! Need to find somone to put up a screen dooe- Need to find a handyman I guess.
My daughter is having a garage sale and her husband is selling the above cast 1/16 models. Doors, hoods/tailgate opens. They are cool but I don’t need them. I especially like the highboy in front. Anybody interested?

Looks allot better. and it is now 3:01-- I am very very ready for a nice big class of diet dr pepper and some makers mark-- I'm done.
Dang Chad, good job on being productive! I hope your shoulder is ok. I managed to remove the brand new standard mirrors from the motorcycle and installed brand new bar end mirrors instead. Much happier with them. I think next week I'll try to get the garage cleaned up in the evenings.
Got some texts from my friend who is doing the bodywork on the mustang last night. Looks like all the panels are primered and now he's just waiting on that Deep Ocean Blue to get mixed up at NAPA
The rest of the car will hopefully get started next week, I'm got that "kid at Christmas" feeling going on
