Southbend Pilot Bushing
Question for you guys..... Who out there is using the Southbend Kevlar Pilot Bushing. I've been expiriencing increased difficulty shifting and I belive I have gone through another pilot bushing, the second since I bougt the truck new in dec 2001. Any one used one of them with any success?

Lots of people have used them. Several have reported issues of the kevlar bushing spinning in the flywheel. Read this thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-flywheel.html There's a link in there to a different kind of bearing you might be interested in.

Hey man thanks for the info, sorry I haven't replied back. I'm supper busy with work but I sure gotta get the truck fixed. It's hard to shift into 1st, reverse and low when the truck is stationary..... I think it's the pilot, what do you think?
