You can see the debris line running across the pic with Magnolia St. as the line of demarcation.
The tan colored stuff is the wood from the homes, apartment complexes and businesses that were between us and the beach.

The green roof of the house to my south is centered in this shot.

I went to help rebuild a house over there after Katrina; it was in Pascagoula. The beachs (what little beach MS has) was gone. LOL. They had couple of John Deeres out there with box blades pushing the beach back out. I also remembering seeing the water lines on some houses and this was couple miles away from the river and ocean. There were also casino coins litering the ground too.

The thousands of people that have come help the Gulf Coast over the years are the miracle we needed.
