1) Washed and scrubbed
2) After using steel wool on them
3) Painted and waiting for it to dry
4) Finished product

Looking good Stu37d. Are the steps rubber or plastic? What did you paint them with?

Actually, I have to correct my last post. #2 is the same as #1, I forgot to take the photo of them after roughing them up with the steel wool (though my fingers are a little sore!)

I used Rustolum engine enamel. The steps are plastic and were fading really badly. I did the windshield wiper cowl (thanks, MCDavis), too:

You should have plenty of posts already. When you reply to a thread, you'll notice in the top bar a paper clip. Click on that and you should be able to attach photos.

Only Supporters can directly attach pictures (and other files) to posts, the rest of us have to upload our pics to a hosting site such as PhotoBucket (can also be FTE Galleries if one chooses) and then source the pictures in the posts from there.

Installed my leveling kit today to match the 4" rear blocks!
BEFORE:

DURING lol

AFTER

buddy's TDI

and 2 friend's trucks

and after that was a trip to cabelas! bought some awesome donuts, pulled pork sandwiches out front and waved at the security camera for a few minutes!
