If you are referring to the solid brass ones I did the ones on my 55 about 18 years ago, I just recently switched them out. I took the division bars off and used a round punch with a anvil or solid piece of mental on the back side. There may be an easier way yo do them or use pop rivets.

I'm not sure what you mean by the rear of the vent window seal. There are 5 rivets I had to place when I went from a one piece window back to a two piece. There were two for the lower pivot and three for the vent handle. I used a punch and a vise to secure the vent while I was pounding the rivets.

I'm thinking you must mean the little cups that appear to look like rivets. Those are actually inserts to protect the rubber seal from the screws used to attach the inner frame to the door. I believe those are only used in 53-55 vent windows not in the 56. They're probably included with the kit but not necessary.

I think he's talking about the seal that is riveted to the division bar; if you buy a new division bar the seal is already riveted in place. MF liste them on page 76 as glue in (1956) and steel reinforced which is what I had.

When purchase those years ago it was metal with the rubber over it with 2-3 holes in it to attach them to the division bar; the division bars I purchase a few months ago had the vent seal already installed. I only can get you a picture of the ones that came installed on my division bars. Let me know it that will help.

I took pictures of my old division bar where I installed the vent rubber however, when I upload all I get is an "X". I used pop rivets to install them.
