Engine missing as the engine heats

I saw this post on another forum and it describes my situation exactly.

I have noticed in the past couple days that my 03 6.0 has started running rough as the engine heats. The problem doesnt seem to be quite as bad for the first few miles. The hotter it get the rougher it runs. It feels like a rough skip. It seems to happen more while maintaining a speed because if I press the accelerator it will smooth out for a bit. There isnt any excessive smoke at all. I replaced the fuel filter and that did not help, removed and cleaned the EGR valve (it wasn’t stuck, but also note that I do have a block off plate on it). The engine isn’t throwing any unusual codes. Any help would be much appreciated.

Any of you guys have any thoughts?

Did you actually attempt to pull the codes or are you saying that the Wrench Light didn't come on? Sounds like 'striction*. Buy 3 cans of SeaFoam and dump 1 1/2 cans in the fuel tank (when close to full) and 1 1/2 cans into the oil ( when you are about 200 miles from changing it). If it's a simple case of 'striction, by the time you go thru that tank of fuel, you should be good to go.

* - sticking or dirty injector(s)

My code reader said none had been thrown. I'll try the SeaFoam.
Thanks

Hi guys,

I have a 2004 f350 6.0, its doing the samething as described above. I run a fuel additive in every tank of fuel. (Flash Lube) I run T6 Syn. 5w 40 oil and change it every 5000 miles. just changed fuel filters 3500 miles ago.

I'm going to be changing my oil soon and was thinking of trying the seafaom thing before i change it. I am going to add a additive to my oil called hotshot secret.

Let me know if you think there will be a problem for me using the seafoam in conjunction with the flashlube.

Thanks
