I borrowed a scan tool and got this code from my truck PO 708 transmission range sensor circuit high, I searched and found a post on what it is and how to change it out but my question is the code says TRS circuit high input does this circuit high input part mean anything extra or different?
thanks RB
Almost every time I got a circuit high code it was water or ice somewhere it didn't belong. Shorting the circuits to power. Those GM ABS modules are just notorious for it. unhook your pcm connector and check for water or corrosion then work your way down from there. Unhook the batteries first.
I hate to sound stupid but, where is the PCM and will the wires be the same color all the way between the PCM and the TRS?
thanks RB
Yes, they are, but if you're going to trace them by wire color you're going to have a very long day and not get the right answer. You need a wiring diagram. I don't have one to send you.
