Wow, that's really cool... you are truly the perfect example of the "average Joe". That's what makes your company so great. Despite the fact you're a business owner and have quite a bit of knowledge and experience, you still get down on our level and help us "common folk" out.

I will say that I think most of us on here feel like that... we're dreaming of the next big thing we can do with our trucks (some of us farm so it makes it harder) while alot of our "friends" or relations are driving their Cadillacs to the city to their office jobs. I've been there... got a couple of friends that are like that. One is incredible with a computer and one can talk and write like you wouldn't believe! Both are some VERY close friends, but I can't help but feel somewhat common (dare I say inferior?) because I'm so simple... none of them see why I think (as Roland put it) "blacking out an entrance ramp" is so cool!

Then the saying goes through my head... "Takes ALL kinds!"

You know, I know you wouldn't believe me, but I had the pictures in my head right, just not the names... but it's a lost cause as I've already branded myself!

Hoi polloi, an expression meaning "the many", or in the strictest sense, "the majority" in Greek, is used in English to denote "the masses" or "the people", usually in a derogatory sense. Synonyms for "hoi polloi" include "... commoners, great unwashed, minions, multitude, plebeians, proletariat, rank and file, riffraff, the common people, the herd, the many, the plebs, the proles, the peons, the working class".

I think that sums up our group

I'm not-so-sure it would be a good idea to go over there to intentionally annoy them.

They wouldn't like it any more than if they came over here with the same intent.

We sure don't need "turf wars".

Couldn't we just let sleeping dogs lie? (Or is it "lay"? I could never get that one right.... )

As usual I agree with Pop on this one too. I personally do not give the slightest damn about what goes on over....there. And I really, REALLY, do not want 'junk' going on over here. just sayin'

Like Clay alluded to real early in this thread, I think, perhaps Jim ought to just shut 'er down....

BTW Marv, chickens lay, most of the rest of us lie.
