[quote=PwerStroke99;9915662]Clay i find it funny that BigR tried to blackmail u into sponsoring. You are a class act, keep up the good work.

How did they black mail him? He was just enforcing the rules. I'm sure there is more history here..........

Normally yes, but in this case no, I just got that one e-mail out of the blue and decided not to respond. I have no control if you guys are happy with a product and want to post it on forums that you frequent.

I have only been over there maybe 8-10 times ever, and those were when someone linked my to a good tech discussion.

I'll say this:

1. Every time I did a search for info on this 7.3L I found the answers here so this is the place I chose to sign up with.

2. Aside from my HPx (which came from Sinister because I liked the design), every part I've ordered for my truck has came from Clay. I can't wait for my F650 dash and OCR to show up so I have more stuff to work on.

3. I really need to pick up a FRx.

Agreed.

I've lurked off and on at PSN over the years with posts here and there, but the past couple years I've pretty much kept to the NorCal forum only, keeping up with Matt, Mikaela, Alex and the gang and any GTG'rs that are being planned.

The only two forums I truly post on are here, and the one Ken referenced, FDP.

Ford Diesel Power is a fun site, just like FTE is. I have a shotgun thread going over at FDP that would be so far off topic here, I know it would get moved.

he ships fast and carrys a wide range of needed parts.

ive got a ton of clays parts on my truck and its 100% based on how he treated me and the qaulity of his products. ill list a couple examples.

-FRX/this thing is awsome. no more dead head, runs smoother and is a super well priced choice over a full regulated return. i picked his system because it was easy to install,100% complete and worked. .

-IC couplers/super thick and durable. whats not to like, they do their job, dont tear or rip and look friggin awsome. not to mention the whole kit is HALF what others charge for 2 boots.

-AIH delete/just looks cool and makes installing a boost gauge easier.

-hpx/works like it should and fits like a glove. did it make a "oh my gawd" diff? no. but it did smooth out the idle and when using the PHP tune option"whisper" its no louder than a regular V8 truck.

-boost fooler or OCR/looks trick and works like it should. i dont throw codes and see a peak boost of 21-23psi everyday. i have yet to see one mount as clean and look as good.

-plenum inserts/im 100% leak free now and no worries of crushing my plenums. i cant see not using them if your increasing your boost. plus they are billet and just sound plain work.

i could go on and on about clay. he ships fast, answers ALL emails quickly and cares about his customers.

i had ordered the HPX,FRX,plenums, boots, fooler and a couple other parts that i was waitin to install, the weather sucked. so a couple days before my install of all my parts i got a email from clay. he was letting everyone know about the brand change he did with the hoses. there was a small chance of hose failure with the new hose brand. he sent the email out to EVERYONE he could. not taking a chance with a engine fire i sent mine back and he had a new kit in my hands inless than 6 days. to help him out i posted the email up on both PSN and .org so others would know and play it safe. guess what,i got banned for posting the warning.

ive now had the frx on my truck for about 7k miles.during deer season it saw temps of around 5*. not one issue. my truck also started and idled PERFECT.

clay has since offered up a upgrade from rubber to braided line for the FRX,which ill be taking advantage of simply because i take adavantage his products when i can.

now im sure someone is going to read this and post for me to get off his nuts or some other stupid ignorant comment about me usinghis products. actually im sure someone will link this to some of the other forums so people over there can come over to make comments. guess what,i dont care. clay is a stand up guy and makes reliable products, all of which are priced so well that the extra money you save can go towards more mods for your truck.

ill post some pics up of my engine later********************.

Wow!

Well, I'll back y'all up on Clay 200%... but I will say that I have noticed the same thing. I'm not trying to bash PSN or powerstroke.org, but I see the difference. It truly is a brotherhood over here... not sure how the mods are keeping it that way, but whatever they're doing, it's working great! I've been thinking about joining the other two, but I really haven't gotten the urge to do it just yet and I think this about takes care of that. I've read some good info over there, but the people are nothing like FTE. The level-headedness, the comradery, the knowledge, even the rules set FTE apart... makes me look forward to when I start working even more so I can have the blue "Supporter" bar up by my screen name! Keep it up, guys! Ed (spinella) is working on some new chapter stickers for VA so I can't wait to slap that on my truck... now, for the smiley:

Don't let it get to you. I am the worst at gammar and spelling and will admit it. The only problem i have is when people try to correct you and you can find faults in thier replies instantly. So if you are going to complain about someones grammer and spelling then they should be spot on right?

It is like one fishermen telling another fishermen how to fish when the instructing fisherment don't know how to fish either.

My problem is i type so fast and hit submit. Always in a hurry, No proof reading. I am sure other folks do the same.. Speed 100%, Acuracy 20%.

Several years ago I bought a Ford Diesel.... I needed info and wanted to learn more about them. My web search brought me to FTE.... I never saw any reason to go anywhere else, because being he (dang typo..) (here) is like being with Family and Friends.

Thank-you all for being so welcoming and friendly. The 'egos' stay in the trucks and not in our heads....
