im doing the mod , im not sure where i hear its a brown wire , with an orange next to it, passanger kick panel, but i cant find it in a clip, any help would be great
See, I already knew the answer. If you have an overhead console then you won’t have a plug for the cab lights. That’s not to say you can’t add them, but no convenient plug. Youll
have to splice into the parking lights. Be careful drilling with the overhead console in place. I don’t have a console, but you may want to do more research on adding them with the console in place.

i found a feed in a clip, in the passenger kick, but your correct about there being no plug, i guess ill just tap it there, also a nice solid ground right behind the clip, i only have the sun glass holder, pocket console up there, ive taken it down to replace the door before so hopefully there will be enough clearance for mevto get the triple lights in the middle, i plan on placing, then measuring, double checking, an drilling , hopefully all goes well, thanks for your help, an responses, ive only had a coupple of people help me out on here, an you are 1, so thanks i really do appreciate it!
And thank you for posting this the night before I went to the pick n pull. I got a full set from an '01 with all bulbs and wiring for $6.59. They didn't have it on their price list, so they just charged me for a "marker light". Not sure I'm willing to drill into my roof as many of these lights end up leaking in the long run. These windshields are notorious for leaking and creating issues with the GEM module, so I don't know that I want to add 15 more holes that water could possibly enter the cab from. I think I'll post them on CL and eBay and see if anyone wants to buy them for a nice profit. If not, then maybe I'll get motivated to start drilling.
