17in 8 lug rims
#2
There are steel rims around that are 16.5 inch and will fit those trucks. I can't say for sure if the wheel was actually made for those year trucks though. Never have seen or heard of a 17 inch rim with our bolt pattern though.
P.S. I just did a search on www.car-part.com, and they list a 16.5 inch rim for years 80 thru 82. 83-up they do not show a 16.5 inch rim.

Keep in mind you cannot use 17" tires on a 16.5" rim or vice verse, regardless of what someone might have told you. The slanted bead of the .5" rim will blow off the 17" tire bead with a good amount of force... I say this because a 17" WILL mount onto a 16.5" rim, BUT it will not seat correctly and it will blow the beads off.
Dodge rims will fit right on, and are 8x6.5 with a large enough hub. Bolt right on. Dodge center caps could also be fit with the correct type lug nut. Factory lugs may work depending.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to witness it. I've sent an 11L-15 with rim into the ceiling in front of me due to trapped air preventing a bead from seating and pushing it a little to far ( 80 PSI on a nylon tire ). We joke about the dent in the ceiling panel now, but it wasn't funny then.
