Ford never made 15" rims for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks, and I've never scene aftermarket 15" rims in 8 bolt pattern. Though some aftermarket place will custom make rims for you application, but thats probalby expensive. You could have your rims redrilled for bolt pattern but I'd question the strength afterwards. Hope this helps.
I haven't looked for them on actual trucks, but just when I go to the tyre international site there are tons of rims that are 15 inches and have the 8x6.5inch pattern. http://www.tyres1.com/browse/browseW.html
Anyway, I know that there are 15 inch rims with 8 lug bolt patterns, are there any reasons that they would not fit over the drums or rotors? Or any other clearance issues?
Yeah just found some made by us wheel. First time I've seen a 15" with an 8 bolt pattern. Sorry my bad. But as for clearance issuses, yeah they might hit your rotors and drums not sure though.
Originally posted by erikl85 I remember hearing a while back that I couldn't fit 15 inch rims on my f-250. I was wondering why that is? Is it possible to make them fit?

They do make 8 lug 15 in. rims. They fit on the back fine it's the front that has problems with the big honken calipers. I've heard of guys grinding down metal on cal. but don't reccommend alot of removal.
I put "73 3/4 ton axles under my '72 F100. I was going after the disk brakes, as well as the bigger brakes and bearings. I had a beautiful set of 15" tires I wanted to use, so I ordered a set of 15" 8 bolt wheels specifically for a '73 F250 (that turned out to be my only saving grace), when they came in the rears fit fine, but the fronts wouldn't go on due to interference with the calipers. The tire shop tried to say that the front disk weren't stock, and I reminded them I'd ordered the wheels to fit a '73 F250 - that's the only way I was able to return them (because they were a special order). I ended up buying a complete set of 16"tires and wheels.
The problem is with the caliper retainer bolt. If you grind the bolt head a little they will fit fine. I have a buddy with a 78 f250 that had 15" wheels and that's all he did.
