A couple more pictures of the debris that killed my IPR. I removed the screen from the end of the IPR and scraped out the stuff that was inside the bore. I don't know what it is but it looks like pieces of hard brown plastic material. Under a magnifying glass I can see what looks like molded edges on a couple of the pieces. Could a plastic part inside the engine have come apart?

the p2263 is a circuit fault. if the valve works fine electricly and will ohm out fine back to the pcm.
what you had was a mechanicaly failed valve. that should have got you to a 2291,
p2290.
I didn't look at it but the tech who did the oil cooler replacement said the sump screen was torn a little. Did the original screens have a plastic binding around the edge or something?
couldb be pump screen. it was made of nylon. could be ziptie parts. could be rocker arm retainers, could be hardend varnish. lots of could be's. I suspect nylon
