So i was wondering what a stock IP pump would be set at fuel delivery wise, as in the fuel screw, would there be a way to tell if it was cranked up or set low? Like if the hex screw was all the way in would it be full bore and if it was all the way out, would it be stock? how to tell???
The only way to tell is on the machine they set the IP's up on.
One thing I can tell you, you should never run the IP with the internal fuel screw bottomed out.
Some people have do that and got away with it, others have the IP drive shaft schear off when to much fuel pressure before the port in the rotor head opens locks the pump up.
was just wondering if there was a way to bottom it out then back it out a set number of turns, or the other way and turn it in, etc etc. No prob.It was at the JY for free so i figured, why not. i just dont know what the fuel was set at.
