well, I drive mine every day. I used to figure up the mileage on it all the time till it started to make me mad when I figured it up, so now I look at it that I fill it up about once a week. Back when I figured it up I was getting 9.5 around town

I had a '67 F250 with a 352--the predecessor to the 360/390 (same block). I got 10 mpg, highway or city, loaded or empty.

I get the same mileage as my buddy gets out of his 460 little to non. HaHa. Really we both get about 8-12 mpg. More when driving down hill.

If you're worried about the mpg's of these bricks, you're getting into the wrong hobby. Not to mention, that answer can vary wildly, depending on condition of engine, gear ratio, etc etc. So let us know a few more details, you could expect to get 5mpgs, or maybe 14.

arround town I get between 6 and 8 MPG If I keep the 4Bbl closed.and about 12 on the interstate if it is flat going,10 if there are alot of hills.
The thing to remember is these are 5000lb+ trucks that are shaped like a brick and designed 30+ years ago.

I forgot to mention that was downhill in neutral with the engine off. Thanks for reminding me.
