Smile egr

Hi, strokin_tatsch, my question today is,is there a egr on my son's 1995psd as i have
not found any reference to it in this forum maybe i have not used the right words.
Also on the engine oil cooler do they make a delete for it as well, because this looks like
a engineering mistake, why put something like this on a truck when you could put and
auxcillary cooler like the tran's have. thank's

First off Welcome to FTE johnbrown and Ctkallday!!!

There is no EGR on ANY 7.3L Powerstroke diesel.

On the oil cooler.. It is NOT an engineering mistake. Coolant is running through it to cool the engine. The coolant is cooled by the radiator so what's the problem? Most of these coolers have lasted 15 years now with no issues, so it's not a bad design. When they do cause a problem, it's usually less than a $100 fix and a couple hours of your time. So the answer to your question is, no they do not make a delete for the oil cooler, but you may add an extra auxilary oil cooler if you wish. Just do a lot of homework b/c if you use too small of lines or something you can cause more problems than anything..

Hi, strokin_tatsch,the reason i was asking about oil cooler was we got lucky and had to
change the adapter plate between tran's and engine,as it cracked at the starter area.
And the week before we were using truck to install insulation in ceiling and sheared off
pitman shaft at gear box and while we under truck i saw what looked like anti-freeze
coming from the area of the cooler is not there now.thank's for the info.

Here is another link to IDM Mod I did in March of 2009.
Some thought it was worthy at the time.

Anyone have a OBS Gauge install Link? I could not get into the DieselStop (work restrictions) and want to print these out. I have the ISSPRO EV2's Pyro, Boost & Trans. Is the 99-03 install the same?
Thanks,

The 99-03 install should be VERY close to the same. Only difference will be where you run your wiring for the lighting. The EV2's are very easy to wire up. Did you get the extra lighting harness with them? If so, it's even easier.

Ok, since you got the lighting harness(POT), it's pretty easy to hook it all up.
