Nicer weather isn't that far away, Merv. Today, we had 61F and sunshine. It melted the 1 1/2 of snow we got on Wednesday morning that fell after the 28F high temp on Tuesday. Maybe there's hope for spring afterall. ;-)
Just saw on the weather channel that it is going to start raining here tonight...now that' going to make one h---k of a mess!

It rained here yesterday.....on top of all the ICE! What a mess. I got rear ended yesterday (in my F250) by a lady in an S 10 going WAY too fast. I was stopped at an intersection...she shoved my truck about 10 feet. Nobody hurt, it didn't even damage my truck.....hers was not so lucky. It was so slick, you could not stand up.
Drive careful out there....
You guys should she how excited we get when we do actually get a little snow down here in Houston. Last time we got about an inch that actually stuck around and it was like Houston won the lottery. Every other yard had a snow man!!!
I could definitely see where the kind of snow you guys & gals deal with would get really old really fast though. If only I was 10 again
LOL Now thats funny! Well Jim I wish you had our little old 6 inches of frost! I hate the cold and I hate snow! We never get snow and now we have had 2 different weather systems that dumped snow and ice on us and its just in the first month of winter. If we do get flurries its usually in late Feb. or March. I sooooo wanna see green grass again!
No , you just keep that down there . We have had more than normal for my part of the state really. We had 14" before december the 21st.I live in a farming area and normal is maybe a couple of 4" ones . Lots more rain too now. We have the mountains all around us and the people that like to play in the 10ft. stuff love it, i hate it myself. At least our state works at keeping the roads open without using salt like a lot of states do.
That pic reminds me of what the snow removal crew at my old work did to a guys car that continued to park it in the wrong place. They did get a talking to but it sure was a riot.
