I was wondering where the guys with snow plows ran your wiring harness into the cab at? I am getting ready to install my western plow off my 97 next week and want to be able to get it done up nice. Thanks in advance.

 

My 04 had a nice hole with a rubber cover on the drivers side of the firewall. It was really simple.

 

That's the best spot IMO. Don't wanna drill any new holes in you firewall.

Ya most definately NOT drilling my firewall! Just my frame

 

From the engine side of the firewall...the plug is under the master cylinder. On the cabin side, you may have to pull the carpet back to see it...to the up & left of the brake pedal. I think the plug might be where the clutch pedal equipment would be/pass through for trucks with gear grinders...not sure though. I know it's where I ran all the wires/harnesses for my EV2 gauges, good location if you ask me.
