I October of 07 I came in the house frozen to the bone.So I said to the wife why in hell are we living in upstate NY? WE then move to Northeast GA for the mild winters and long summers. It's been 4 days of being snowed in,never seen any kind of plow or sand truck,Two of us used our small tractors to back blade the road so we could get to a state road. Why didn't we move to Aruba?

You should have moved to Texas. We never get more than 2 days of any bad weather. 38 degs now but I bet we'll be back in shorts and t-shirts this weekend.
We call those southern snow storms , a good heavy frost.
LOL Now thats funny! Well Jim I wish you had our little old 6 inches of frost! I hate the cold and I hate snow! We never get snow and now we have had 2 different weather systems that dumped snow and ice on us and its just in the first month of winter. If we do get flurries its usually in late Feb. or March. I sooooo wanna see green grass again!
the warm weather is gonna be back soon, I just finished raking the front and side yard bagged some leaves and old flowers... now if I could just find my keys....
WOW Havi; when I first seen that I thought close the door and add more insulation. Second thought was you need a second floor window and a couple of suitcases. LOL
I heard on the news last night that for the first time, there was snow on the ground somewhere in 47 of the lower 48 states. Florida was the lone exception. I thought that was interesting. So much for global warming. ;-)
Nicer weather isn't that far away, Merv. Today, we had 61F and sunshine. It melted the 1 1/2 of snow we got on Wednesday morning that fell after the 28F high temp on Tuesday. Maybe there's hope for spring afterall. ;-)
