GOTCHA!!! Hey I have a horn problem, I put a new wood wheel in the 1984 F50/302/auto, and while playing with the wires,I grounded one on the blinker stalk. Needless to say, I thought I blew a fuse? I replaced it, and still no horn? no lighter either, which is on the same fuse. what am I missing? did I blow a relay some where? Thanks for any help, vic
OK, sorry about the crafty intro, Made ya look!.. But I did blow a fuse, and did replace it, and even now the horn and the lighter do not work? Is there something else I should check? this saving money and doing my self is costing me more!!!, vic
I pulled the one listed in the owners manual, a 20amp down at the bottom? jsut like the picture, But I will check it out when it warms up out here some time soon?(Buffalo ny) man I hate when your shirt hikes up and the cold vinyl seat hits your back!!!vic
Oh yea, do you have one of those nifty little fuse testers? I got one of the kits at NAPA that had an assortment of fuses and a tester. I forgot what I paid for it, but I think it was under ten bucks for the kit. Saves a lot of guesswork.
nope, just a plain Jane F150, I'll have to ask at the parts store about a tester! that would save a lot of guess work right? I wish they had put the fuse box in a better place, the metal they put in my back doesn't want to bend to let me get to it to easy! I hate when one easy job turns into a week long project? is this just me?

No my friend, it's not just you. My rear springs are STILL on the front porch, my brakes are STILL in the shed. It's always: "oh, I forgot this part, now I need that tool, well, I'll fix those first..."
Check your fuses again. I blew mine a couple of times when I was working on my own horn issue.
