Flat load floor in 2011?

I don't think so. Mine has an under-seat cargo organizer that came with the truck, I think all the crew cabs come with this.

I'll post a pic tomorrow unless someone beats me to it!

I don't think so either. But, I took out both back seats to install speakers and it was pretty easy. If you don't need the seats there is a LOT of room back there without them. I think it was only 6 bolts or so.

Thanks...

I do need the seats, but loved that old flat floor in my 05 CC. My 120 pound Rottie loved it too! Can the cargo bins be removed to reveal a flat-ish floor?

thanks

My 2008 had the folding flat floor for the rear. (seat base was split and flipped up and you could fold out the base) The 2011 has the storage compartment that runs the length of the seat. I thought I would miss it but haven't noticed it as being a problem yet.

I wish the back was like the F150's. Tons of room when you fold up the seats.

I didn't use it often, but when the dog rode with me I folded the seats up and the floor out, laid out a moving blanket and let him have that area. A small convenience thing to be sure.

Yep I miss that too. The seats don't lay flat when folding down so the dogs can lay on it without destroying the seat backs. I have been thinking of building my own platform to place it the truck.

Ford should go the SUV/Van route and make these seats quick release removable and also give the option to configure 1 seat, 2 seats, or all of them, whichever is necessary. Never thought about this before....

Good point. I did the same thing for my retriever. I had a foam pad I put on the fold out floor and then put a blanket over it. I forgot about that.

Does seem like the back seats look really similar (especially bolt pattern) to last years, so might be possible to get the "fold flat" part from last years truck, unbolt seats and remove storage trays, and then reinstall the fold flat system. At least on on 2004 I know all the parts were separate and it could be swapped around.

I'm torn on the old system. I really liked it and is handy for hauling, but after having zero storage space in my last truck (even my jack had to be moved to fit my subs) I am loving the room to actually carry stuff!

I have the same issue with my dogs. I came from a 2010 F-150 with the flat rear floor when folding up the rear seats. My new 2011 F-250 has the lockable cargo box under the rear seats. It looks like there are only about 6 or so bolts holding it to the floor though. I thought about just trying to remove the cargo box when I take my labs to the vet. Then, putting it back in when I'm done.

I want it both ways. I would love the flat rear floor but also love having the storage bins under the seats.

So far I'm keeping the bins. I may get rid of the passenger side one for an amp later on, we'll see.

As for the dogs, they love their dog house, and so do I. No pet hair up front.

Yeah, but this would be a messy cleanup with my dead deer on this nice carpet!
