Today was a beutiful day, I was out setting up tents for my commands upcoming Field excercise program, it was awsome. If it stays like this, I forsee some trail rideing in my future; its a nice thing to be in the military and have access to all kinds of tank trails, and what not, lol!! I can't wait!
Umm, not sure, the trails i'm thinken of are up near williamsburg. I don't know of any trails at fort story, and if there are horseback trails there, then it might be easier said then done to get permission for civilians to access fort story. but it might be possible and would be worth doing.
on a side note, anybody know what the gasket is called on the passenger side, known for leaking when it rains, both my trucks have/had this problem. I keep forgetting what its called. and random ? whats the difference between XL and XLT, specific to 95 - 96 years, for ford trucks. any noticable diffs?

Good morning VA! We only got a few snow showers last night but nothing significant. Good thing too because I had to drive my wife to Charlottesville for a meeting this morning. Just sitting here now killing time until 2PM...LOL.

where at williamsburg? i lived there for a year, in toano...met some awesome guys in a jeep club who adopted me. one guy had 40 acres out in victoria/lunenburg where we had some wild camping/wheeling trips. went out to menzel's trail for a few midnight runs. good times.
it must not be too hard to get civilian access...the last time i went on the trail ride i paid $40 registration in advance, gave them my license plate number with the reg, and the cute guy at the gate sent the two girls in the powerstroke and the big-*** horse trailer on through the day of
gasket...can you be more specific? picture? my truck, knock on wood, hasn't had this problem (yet)
as to the xl vs xlt...to the best of my knowledge the xlt is just the pricier option with more bells and whistles...mine is an xlt and she has power locks, windows, driver seat adjustment; cruise control, folding center console, tilt steering...all that good stuff.
