HB it was at 10 around 7 this morning. John, I've got a grandson that is thinking about the Border Patrol. That is a no-no in my opinion.

I'd have to agree with you there George. I don't think I could stand that at all. Too many other better opportunities out there to consider BP.

Again be safe John. What bothers me is that there are 10 southern states that account for about 1/2 of the police fatalities.

Many causes for the officer deaths but one of the most aggravating for me is traffic fatalities. I harp on my guys a lot about their driving but it's for a good reason.

We got well over 5 inches of snow, took me an hr to get thawed out and to the base...to find out they closed it. So I am back at the house going back to bed haha.

Started to snow a little bit down here. We'll have to see what happens overnight. Lots of closings for tomorrow already. Daughter, N of Athens, GA got about 8" of snow at her place.

Evening VA! George, I hear that they got hit pretty hard in GA today. Ours was supposed to have started just after noon but didn't really come in until around 6:30 this evening. So far, it's not looking like much but we're supposed to get a lot of freezing rain, ice, sleet, etc. Tomorrow's going to stink. We'll be working wrecks like crazy.
