It keeps me motivated on mine, lol. I think I would rather reverse the silver and black though.
I agree, just got to make you have a VERY smooth body before you spray it black. I've only painted one of my vehicles black and that was because it was only 4 years old and didn't have many of life's dings.
Sorry to hear that Randy. It seems like just yesterday you were moving there. Good luck on getting the new Job to your wife. As Travis said any luck on your job search? I don't recall if you ever said if you found work or not.
Edit.... On a side note that is a very sweet ride there Corey!
Woody, you post WH0RE!!!!! You are now the last person to post on almost every thread on the first page in the Chapter.
I sent you some reps for it. Good job on posting up!!! Now why can't more people be active like this.
I did it as a goof but it really seemed to bring people out. It was kind of fun and only took about 45 minutes. Part of my after new year's resolution was to only watch the news and wednesday/thursday TV. and football, but thats almost over.

I found a job the first 3 days I was looking, was to work the 2nd week I have been doing refrigeration with a company from austin. Didn't have any refrigeration exp past the hvac exp I already had. I will tell you though that business is crazy hours.. Actually been looking for a different job because for about 99% of the work I've been doing has been in san antonio area till this month when we finished up all the jobs here and not it looking like I will be in austin living in a motel. I made a few contacts and have 2 offers but now I think we might be moving to the other side of town and my goal was to find a job with in 10mins drive of where I live.
I'm really digging that truck.. have to say the 1979 ford trucks are my favorite 70's truck. I love the broncos and the 4door 4x4 swb trucks people have made as well.
Yes sir. I agree with Randy. Of course the wife dosen't think so! Me, I love wrenching so the more work the more I like it. Especialy when I get to see the fruits of my labor!
I thought I was finally going to get the front axle back in the f150 today... WRONG!! Lol. Setting up the gears totally backfired. Gotta go get another set of bearings and stuff tomorrow. Haha. It was perfect wrenching weather most the day
I like finding a cheap prodject... lol build a 4x4 to play with that is cheaper than a fourwheeler.
My last jeep was a 1987 jeep cherokee paid $600. Had $75 bucks used f150 coil springs, 1.5" blocks and chevy lowering shackles. $25 in a pioneer cd player and $80 in 31" tires. Took it on a few wheeling trips and a drag behind. Ended up selling it for $900 bucks. I've so far always come out ahead on jeeps
