1975 crewcab locally, decoding the VIN?
I wanted to verify it came as a dually, what rear it may have, what ratio if possible.
Current drive line is a 460/c6.
From the door plate:
F35MCX20389
167 MF F351 33D GD6J
08000 1975 89
The axle did not have a tag, but this number was stamped in the housing:
034835 Maybe a Dana 70?
Tried searching for Vin decoder, decoder, but I'm getting some random threads.

The 460/C6 was in a mild flood. Water got as deep as the floor boards. The engine is semi seized.
The PO has dumped diesel in both, but regardless, he wants them to go through and after rebuild install in a Lincoln project.
I picked up a 81 460/C6 out of a motor-home. Went and gave it a run, purred like a kitten, ran real good, that cost me $600.
The engine seller owns a shop next town over, and is pulling the 81' 460/c6 soup to nuts as part of the deal. Some new valve cover gaskets, removal of smog stuff, a good intake and headers, it will get dropped in the 75' crew.
After that, I'm going to reline the tanks if needed, although they look really good, do some overall service, go through the brakes, do a good interior cleanup, give it the best quickie paint job I can, put on some tires (shame cause, the tires on it are new but dry rotted), then drive the **** out of it.
Has a nice dual exhaust setup on it now, that will stay.
It will be my dump runner, Lowe's bish, pull my Jeep on the flatdeck. Pending how well the paint does, it might get driven to the local cruise in's.

Old motor will be out by tomorrow.
