Bad Water Pump???

OK guys, I finally replaced the waterpump this weekend (and the T-stat, all the hoses, and IC boots while I was in there). It was fairly simple and straight forward. Having the right tools always helps. I also found this video series on YouTube (there are 8 seperate videos) showing step by step how to replace the waterpump: YouTube - 7.3 WATER PUMP INSTALL 1 OF 8 FORD POWERSTROKE DIESEL
Anyway, I saved the old gold coolant and poured it back in but lost about a gallon that I should replace. Is there any issues with mixing coolant types/brands etc.?
