Question lowest gear ratio?

what the lowest gear you can get in these trucks guys?

I run a 9inch. I just didn't that they didn't share the same ratios.

Well Summit lists a 7.33:1 but it "Requires the use of Daytona pinion support and solid spacer kit."

But you also have to know: Number of splines on pinion, which way you gear rotates, and the pinion shaft diameter. But summit has gear ratios form 2.86:1 up to the 7.33:1

NO.... I meant ratios avalable from factory! I dont want a new one, I was just curious.

The most common would be either 3.50 or 4.10 for trucks

I think in that case it was 4.11 for the ford 9 inch code 19 with a capacity of 3750 lbs according to my JBG magazine. With the dana 60 with code 28 having 4.56 gears as the highest overall ratio. Hope this is what you were after.

Lowest numerically, 1978 2.72 Axle code 02
Highest numerically, 1973-75 4.57 Axle code 04
This is from the Ford 1973-79 parts catalog
