And the transmission gauge part I'll have to test the gauge and sender. Everything is/was connected properly so I perhaps there is a problem with the gauge units. Is there a special way to connect the wires to the studs, I just fished the wire through the hole twisted it above and put shrink wrap over it and the light part works so that part should be fine. Anyway, I'll have to troubleshoot and post results.
BTW: I wish I had a v-belt setup today. I blew something PS related and the leak was too severe to replenish pump on the 30miles home. So I'm pretty sure I burned out my pump on the way home

Sorry to hear about the pump but now you probably understand my point about the v-belts.
All wires should have the proper terminal end crimped on and slid onto it's proper stud then fastened down with the lock washers and nuts supplied with the gauge. If not fastened correctly you chance the wire falling off which in your situation may be the case.
Oh, it didn't come with fastener or the little screws. Oh well, the light part works good so some of my wire job worked but perhaps not the other part. I'll have to pull it apart tomorrow and look at it, thanks dually.
Incadescent bulbs on all my gauges. Wonder if someone replaced your bulbs with L.E.D.s because from Banks both kits at different times that I've installed (NEW from Banks) came with regular bulbs. Plus with L.E.D.s you won't be able to dim them with the headlight switch like you can your dash lights.
I bought both gauges new within a month from banks and the autometer from a speed shop; both places told me LEDs were built in.
Which fuse did you tap out of to get it hooked into the lights? My lights are on whenever key is turned so I have to change it to a different fuse. I never dim my dash lights anyway, seems good when its brightest
Once upon a time I had L.E.D. dash lights in a Kenworth. They dimmed fine with the dimmer switch. The only trouble I ever had was with the lights that change colors. With the constant use they saw in a semi truck they didn't last very long.
