Looks like some nice fab work on the pipes.

All the salt I have run in for years plowing snow have about done my radiator support in on my 86.

Next year I think I am going to custom fab a core support and move my radiator back enough to get an intercooler in mine.
That would be cheaper than buying a different snow plow and get me a decent core support at the same time.

So I could kill two birds with one stone.

i have an aftermarket setup on my truck and the boost hits the same.
the 093 turbo is most efficent at 7-10 psi. any more you are making more heat than power.

Hey towcat, didn't know you were here too. Is the power the same considering the low boost or is it more?

I've been lurking here since 2006. the site is agonizingly slow with the data terminal in my car, so I visit when I am in the office.
Just recently, I tied a trailer weighing in at 10k gross to the *** of the CCdually that already tips the scales at 8k. I have a gross combined of 18k. went from the SF bay area to Reno, NV on I80. Kept up with traffic and was passing the big rigs on the grade in 4th gear. I can't ask for better and to top it off, my major chassis overhaul in 2005 is still intact save for oil changes, a few belt tensioners, and a couple of IP's I'd consider that pretty damn good for an old dog of a truck.

That is certainly good, I'm gonna go with a 7.3 unit though, I assume the cooling will be close to the results of the 6.0.

both of you are looking at IC's that are at minimum twice the size of what I have, the ATS kit is roughly the same size as a Mitsu Evo IC and it's a bar and plate type IC.
I have yet to encounter a problem with heat soak on the IC.
