Has anyone installed a dual/twin rear shock setup?
I did some searching and found a bunch for the SuperDuty but none for the Excursion. I know it's gonna be a tight fit with the large fuel tank and the exhaust pipe.....just wondering if someone fabbed something up.
Thanks,
Jerry D.
The upper mounting would be tricky, but I had enough room to install reservoirs. When starting they rear install of my new shocks, I found out that I had broken one and bent the other upper mount pin. For myself, I guess I was alittle rough on the rears.
With the mad rush of Christmas, it will be hard to find time to sit down and download some pics. I did a write up to let everyone to just take a look at their rear mounting pins after I found mine damaged. Try a search of "take a look or something about pins" I think and you'll see some of my pics to give you an idea. To add duals, I think you'll haveto custom mount that type of setup.
