doner colum

What car /truck steering colom makes a good doner for a 55 f100 with stock axel and Toyota steering box? I will be rewireing truck ,so a gm setup would be best

I can't comment on the Toyota steering, but I used an early 90's Jeep Cherokee column. It's a GM column, tilt, 30" long with a double d shaft. Cut the mounting flange off the bottom and it fits in the stock hole. $10 at the local pull a part.
