Headlights

Looking for some ideas for headlights for the F250 Rebuild... any of you guys have any of these various headlight styles you care to share some pics of?

These are the ones I am looking at (I poached the pics off ebay)

1

2

3

While number 3 would be interesting to do a HID setup inside the projectors, I am leaning towards number 1 and using the LED lights in conjunction with the taillight/reverse light flasher. And I thought about going with a smoked lense but with the chrome surrounds and big chrome winch bumper and gray paint I don't think they would go together real well.

Thoughts, opinions, flames? LOL

The projectors don't look very good on these trucks. They just look out of place. I prefer the 3 piece setup. The 2 piece doesn't look too bad, but it just doesn't look quite right IMO. The 3 piece looks like it's supposed to be there... So your going to have a chrome grill, chrome bumper, and the grey paint.. I think if you did the chrome crystal headlights, color match the bumper, chrome grille and surrounds it would look sweet, but w/ the chrome bumper it will look pretty nice too.

i would do the last ones with an HID setup inside of them. IDK about your newer truck but i know that my 89 headlights were terrible before i modified the crap out of them, and now they still suck just not as bad as before.

i prefer function over form...

If only someone made a one piece headlight assembly that just looked like the stock headlights with a clear lens. Seeing #3, the one piece deal looks sick, but the projectors make em look too busy

#3 looks bad because the lights have black trim and the grille is chrome. The lights would look better in chrome.

lol the #3 with black on a chrome grill seems like the truck has make-up on.

I vote #1. Im going with them but in black.

I have the bottom "bumper lights" already. Just haven't ordered the headlight yet. Running all LEDs too. They look sweeet with the "diamond cut" design.

I like the #2 ones. The diamond clear look pretty good too.

I'd go for number 2. I've had #1 and they didn't fit very well. In order to get them to aim properly, they didn't flow well with the grill and trim. Also, the headlight trim had to be cut to get the lights together correctly and installation was a PIA because headlight is supposed to stay in place while the corner light is removed with the bumper light and trim; these do now allow that process to work.
