If your going to change the lights, I would go with this, from those choices. The others are hideous. The ones that have the sidemarker molded to the headlight look like $#!%. I don't really care for the smoked ones either, but on that black Lightning they look ok. I still don't see how the smoked ones can allow as much light output though.
I don't like any of them. I think just a clear lense looks best.
If you talking about what I have, I definitely agree with you. If I couldn't have it this way, it would be stock lights. I can't believe that its so hard to find the frosted turnsignals that match the stock lights. I would think that it would be the most popular one.

The area around the light reflector is smoked, and on some the lense is also smoked. As long as the reflectors are the same the output will be the same. Smoked lenses usually do decrease light output slightly, but in all of these applications the overall output would be much higher than brand new OEM lamps.

I still don't see them allowing bright light output than new OE style lenses. I see it the same way as the tinted blue bulbs. If the light has to shine through anything tinted, it will not be as bright.
Those corner lights are the ones I would really like, but who carries them is the question??? I have looked all over the net and ebay and still only find the clear ones you can see thru, not the diffused lens ones.
