As for the HIDs ive had mine for almost 2 years now and have never been flashed or pulled over. Not blinding at all. My cutoff is really good. I got a pic somewhere. Gotta find it.
You must be doing it right, but people in central texas can't get it right, thay blind me from the front and behind me

So, Texas, I listened to you and had asked for Nighthawk Platinums and that wiring relay for Christmas. I got them today and was just wondering when I install the harness, does it put strain on the battery? Do I need to upgrade my alternator? I also have an amp running off of it.

You'll be fine with what you have.

Those are the factory stock side markers already on the truck, the headlights are available on ebay from several sellers. Search for 1992 F150 CLEAR HEADLIGHTS

Thats cool, I hope your happy with it. It should be noticably better.

You don't need to upgrade the alternator. Although that might make the lights brighter especially at idle. I would like to upgrade mine too.

The only thing I would do is add a good 30 amp fuse to the headlight relay. When you hook it up don't hook it directly to the battery. Instead you can get power from the starter solenoid.

What gauge wires does your headlight relay harness use? Im looking at getting one designed for HIDs but the wire looks really small. Cheap price kinda worries me too.

That kit you found is cheap. I can't believe its less than 10 bucks with shipping.

I found another place that carries the kit I have besides LMC and Ebay. Here is some info on the relay kit. The picture is a stock photo. It has different connectors for older bulbs it looks like. It says 14 gauge wire. I'm not sure how heavy of wire you think you need but your lights shouldn't need anything heavier than this, since they draw less power when on. They only draw more during warm up, which is a short time. This picture from Ebay is the one I bought.

Sounds like you need to place a dispute on the charge with your card company.

You mean they sent you the crystal clear ones instead of the ones that match the stock lights?
