I always will credit that expy for saving my life. Everyone that came up on that accident all said the same thing "man that's a fatality" even my insurance agent (her and her husband drove by shortly after it happened) the firemen, and the state trooper were all afraid to go down and look in the vehicle adn the trooper didn't believe me when I told him I was teh driver.

Short answer is I got out of that on my own before even the witness's could park and walked away with 2 broken ribs. I do have some issues with my left shoulder from the seatbelt but that is IT.

Cooter, the rear axle on those are independent A arm style. If you look in this pic you can see the broken A arm

Seriously man, I hope everyone walked away from that!
There you go, now we're back on topic and inline with the forum. How about that folks??? BTW, a darksider would snap that kind of rear suspension up in a second and meld it right in to an old F-100. Yep, I said meld, not weld.

Jim, it's the part just above your 'garage is empty' line that I'm trying NOT to see...

Nope! I have to search often enough... so I wouldn't want to find another job doing the same...

Today, I am making a New Years resolution to only read this thread a half dozen times or so more!

Wasn't there a video game the kids use to play (Mario)? where you had to save the "Posting Princess"?

Did you say Train ……or ………….Airplane wreck?

The train has a great story, engineer was behind schedule but knew he could stop as the train had two sets of brakes, including the new style Westinghouse air brakes,..that didn’t!

[Dave Boley, I know that some of us are hard of hearing but why are you shouting (big letters)?]

I guess the best answer for that is because I like them. However, if it's really that big of a deal I can stop using them. So far as I can tell, they don't make sound, loud or otherwise. It's not a matter of hearing, it's a matter of eyestrain because I am constantly reading on the computer and books. But whatever blows up your skirt is OK with me...

Kinda looks like someone didn't want to give right of way and the big one won
