Remote Starter Advise

Hello Everyone,, i am thinking about installing remote start on 2000 Navigator and i have factory keyless entry system and as far i have searched so far Ford don't have add on remote start for that year...so my questions are..

1- Good brand without breaking the bank
2- Will my existing fob/Key less work with new ones?
3- ease of installation

Thanks in advance

I have this one:
Car Remote Starters kits by Asianwolf
With this installed you will not need your factory FOB. Plus, for the range I get an average of about 1,500 feet. The 2-way remotes are a nice feature because it tells you if the engine did indeed start or not.

Good price for 2-way. Did you installed yourself or have someone do it for you? Do i need to have extra kit for anti-theft?

Yes I installed it myself. You will need a bypass module because of the PATS in the vehicle. It took me about 4 hours start to finish, but it was a nice day and I was in no hurry.

If you don't want to wait, here is another one with great range that I've installed and was very happy with. The good thing about installing one with an alarm is it saves you a few bucks on the comprehensive portion of your insurance bill. Naturally you have to inform your insurance company that it was installed in order to get the discount.
