See your from Indiana too, Muncie here. Took a route very similar to yours on my way to Yellowstone National Park. Stop by and see Mt Rushmore, make a stop in the dessert to Wall Drug, at least drive the loop around Yellowstone (you won't regret it.), make a stop in Vegas, the Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, stop by the St Louis arch. Lots of things to see on that route thats for sure!

Well, you're missing all the good states.
I bought my brother a Magellan 4.3" NAV for Christmas and gave it to him early since he was in town from NH. He loves it and says it's fast w/o lag. I bought it on Black Friday at ShopKo for $79 (usually $299).

I wanted to see Yellowstone, but both neither Google maps or Mapquest could find a way around seasonally closed roads. I think i'm going to have to make a summer trip in a few more years...
And yes there are lots of things to see, but i don't know if i'll have enough time...
Someday when i retire i want to get a very large 5er and a truck to pull it and just drive from place to place all over the country....
Yea you did say you were going later in the year. Some of the roads to get to Yellowstone are pretty treacherous even in good weather. Especially if you take the scenic route through Wyoming. Yosemite shouldn't be to far from your route...
