Ranger 6 cd player Not Playing ???

Ranger 6 cd player Not Playing ???
We have a remote 6 cd changer in an extended cab 1996 Ranger. This is the first time to use this unit since I purchased the truck. I installed 3 factory cds after figuring which way to turn the cds and where to put them in the slots of the magazine. 
You can hear the changer loading the discs and after about 5 seconds of each being loaded the head unit will display "NO CD" and then go back to playing AM/FM radio.
What is the problem here ??? I know someone else has experienced this same problem. This board is Great so I know the answer is here somewhere.

Are the cd's purchased or something you burned?
Is the cd unit a factory unit or aftermarket?
Sounds like the unit doesn't recognize the cd because of the way it was recorded/formatted.

Try doing a search if you know the answer is here and you don't want to discuss!
You could still be inserting the cds in the cassette backwards if its not recognizing the cd.
