oil cooler replacement
I'm going to replace the egr cooler on a 2004 Ford F250 in a couple of days and I want to know if I have to replace the oil cooler with it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

How have your temps been? ECT vs. EOT? Since you are in there, you might as well. Has your 04 ever had it replaced?
And if you are going to then replace the oil cooler, might suggest flushing the motor with Restore and then Restore + or VC-9 first. Let the old cooler catch any of the crud the chemicals loosen.

I'm changing the egr cooler because I'm blowing white smoke from the exhaust and I'm finding myself put antifreeze in about every other day.

Fireballer mine is in my garage apart now waiting on oilcooler. I welded my egr cooler up, but if you are in that deep do the oil cooler.
