1. A 95 F250 didnt use discs on the rear, the only trucks of that era to use discs were F Super duty trucks aka F450.
2. You cant use F350 front springs on an F250 axle b/c the F250 axle uses negative arched springs since its a ttb 44/50.

the disc brakes was a conversion my buddy found on the web. i haded them soon as i added the axles. your right they dont fit unless you do some mods. and frankly im not good at weldin anything so i lit my brother take care of that and he welded the mounts. which is why he'll be the guy to help me drop the engine in cuz i kno there be so welding. but good eye and sound as i git eveything how i want it ill put pic up on here.

I will play devils advocate and say, he could probably use F350 springs on that ttb 50 if he had pivot drop brackets, otherwise, no you would have to use negative arch springs... What do you think CJ? What I want to know is why in the heck would you not just skip the whole mess of swapping in an undesireable TTB 50 and just go to a D60. Man, In my opinion the TTB 44 or 50 is only as valuable as its weight in scrap... Hell, I couldnt give mine away after I swapped in my 60..........

If you want a simple swap, then anything from an 89-98 dodge 2500 or 3500. 94-98 is a more desireable engine simply because it has the p7100 injection pump and is capable of making more power. If you are not planning on making major horsepower with the truck then the 89-93 generation 12 valve would suit you just fine as well. They were not intercooled until 91 though. Also, I would suggest looking for a manual over an auto for reliability plus I just like to shift gears. The 94-98 engine and or donor truck will be more expensive than an 89-93 just because everyone and their moms wants a 94-98 12 valve. IF you are really going to tow like you say you do then dont do the 4bt as I said before, that is more of a mpg diesel than a tower, escpecially in a fullsize truck.
to say the 4bt is a mpg'er and not a tower is completely fair. well said in fact.
i've done quite a bit of 8klb towing with mine and its fine once up to speed but no fun getting there. 5 speeds are not enough for that scenario.
my next swap is a 6bt in a 77 f250 crewcab. 6bt for more towing capacity and less noise. i will be forced to upgrade the dana 44 front axle, i will have an exciting time fitting long motor/intercooler/ac condensor, and i will miss the 4bt mpg.
i've often considered an idi for this swap. biggest advantage to that would be its a short fat motor rather than long and skinny. and all ford.
there are tradeoffs to everything. 4btswaps dot com is a great site to see info on 4bt, 6bt, and many other engine swaps.
The easiest diesel and the least expensive to work would be the Navistar engines that ford installed from the factory. They sold many of those things (far more than Cummins in dodges) and they are showing up in pull-your-part junk yards priced the same as a 302 or other ford engine so many parts will be available.
I carefully looked at the diesel option several years ago when I got the 88 F350 with a very sick 460 in it.
I ran every number I could think of attempting to justify the swap cost for a conversion. I would cost about ~5 times as much to overhaul the diesel over the gas and convert. It would have been a nice project but I needed a tractor hauler not a project.
The F350 FI 460 C6 will tow and handle anything any of the ford option diesels will do and it drives like a big powerful car with no clattering sticking/smoking diesel.
The tractor is a diesel so I still get to smell diesel burning.
