Ok I found a local shop the will do a true dual exhaust for $495 using either a Magnaflow or flo-pro muffler I have never heard of flo-pro I'm leaning twords magnaflow cuz I know them well? The exhaust shop says the flo-pro is better and more popular???? Your guys thoughts???
Never heard of Flo-pro myself. I am going to guess that it is more popular because it is louder then the magnaflow. I would lean towards magnaflow though as it comes with a lifetime warranty. Now flo-pro may as well but I just don't know enough about that system.
Yeah I'm sticking with the Maggie!! So my next question is sido for $395 or dido for $495?? They said the Maggie has an internal x do no need for an x pipe!
I would go with Magnaflow. Its a stainless straight through muffler. The FloPro is a knock off Blowmaster chambered muffler. I would probably go with dual in dual out if you don't have to modify your exhaust ahead of the muffler. On my older truck I just went with a single in dual out and 3 inch pipe from the Y pipe back. I believe your truck already has duals back to the muffler.
Dont do flo pro. I have them and are not happy with them. I asked for the flowmaster 44 series and the guy put on flo pro by mistake some how. He showed my dad the flowmaster 44 when he dropped it off but some how messed up. He only charged me for the flo pro but he wasnt really willing to take it off and said its the same design as flowmaster. Flo pro stole the same pattern so I said screw it and let it be. It did get a little louder but still not where I would like it.
