I recently had my Auto Trans rebuilt on my 96 Power Stroke. The transmission has been shifting a little weird lately. Some shifts will be firm, as they should be, some are very hard, and other times it seams that the trucks revs up a little before engaging into the gear(last shift only occurs when shifting into OD.
The Tranny Was rebuilt in WA and i now live in AZ. Called the Tanny Co. and they said to check the codes, as well as the throttle positioning sensor, voltage to the Tranny, and the camshaft sensor.
no check engine light, and no codes were shown when i scanned it.
Does anyone have any advice, or a similar situation?
Search this section of the forum for transmission sensor. I hope the scanner your using will read these rigs. I'm kinda in the same boat myself. I haven't scanned mine yet or even done a visual. I'm kinda thinking the transmission range sensor may be loose or the connector to it may be loose.
