good morning CT. thanks for the offer andy but i should be all set. i have the pinion in the freezer so i just need to heat the new new bearing and i should be off to a good start this morning. i am praying that the last failure was just a freak because i have had much worse interference fit bearings that never exploded, there is no reason for this one to have failed.

No, not right now. Maybe when the warranty expires. I am just going to do apprearance mods.
You guys always schedule cool things to do when I am busy. This morning I have to go see Santa, get a tree, put it up, go fix some Christmas lights on the town green, and then goto my niece's 1st birthday party. There is no way I could even squeeze in a small visit. Damn you!

Well I've now got a 6blow on a stand instead of in an F550.
Anyone know what I'm supposed to do with it now? This is as far as my plans went....
Brian's got more pictures than me. I was covered in grease and other crap and didn't want to get it all on my phone in order to get pictures.
I'll head back tomorrow and get some pictures of the engine sitting on the stand.
Can't thank everyone who helped enough. See you guys again when it's time for the engine to go back in.
