Apparently, it went on a different truck, and it was delayed due to inclement weather, even though there was none yesterday. That is UPS for you. It will arrive tomorrow.
Good morning all.
Are any of you doing anything exciting tomorrow night?
We are just going to bed and wake up in a new year.
Years ago I went to Times Square 3 years in a row to see the ball drop, talk about crazy!
No excuses for what went on there. **** poor job on the part of the guy in the tow truck and even worse on the part of the guy in the loader.
I refuse to call either one an operator.
Loader never should've been in that situation to start with but regardlesss he should've been able to recognize the issue and self-rescue before he got to that point. A little finesse would've gone a long way.
Beyond that there was no reason for the tow truck to be used in such a way. They've got snatchblocks and cable for a reason. Should've had the outriggers down and boom out to get the rear of the loader over and away from the parked car. From there the loader could rescue itself if not the tow truck would have a straight shot to pull on it from there.
But it's easy to be a Monday morning quarterback and sit in my warm living room with no snow blowing around talking about it. Camera man needs to quit instigating and put on some pants though.
