Damn! I was just talking to the driver of the project 350 truck and he just drove past the exit our hotel is off of in TN, was just there 5 mins ago, I even missed him down here...lol

 

And unfortunately our trucks

 

Where's all the snow? We ain't getting 20" at this rate.

my virgin florida truck is crying right now!
LOOK AGAIN!!! i had 3" fall in the last hour here in wally world, and its getting heavier as time passes.

 

I plowed 2x already because my driveway is a pretty good uphill and the truck doesn't like to go uphill while pushing 15+ inches of snow. Snowbanks are already above hood height. Wind is something fierce.

 

F-me. I was just looking at my chest waders last week.

That snow is more than waist deep.

It must be the wind. I had entire sections of my driveway that were bare due to all the wind. If I had to guess I would say Bristol has only gotten 6" or so at this point. I drove the whole way to Hartford in 2wd, after getting up at 2:30am to plow the driveway.

WOW it is crazy out there.
It is still snowing and I hardly slept do to the wind.
At least I still have power.

 

It is drifting due to the wind, but look at the radar.
It's not stopping anytime soon.
I wish the wind would stop or it would warm enough for it to stick and stay in place.
I need to go shovel the sidewalk again.

The reindeer were nervous and in awe of such might But they knew that Ol' Powerstroke would be saving their night

I eased in the clutch and I dropped her in gear The T-case in low as I backed her in near

One end to the hitch and the other to sleigh The tow strap was set as the snow wiped away

He cried out "I'm not sure, cause that old sleigh is heavy but I trust you, cause I see you're not driving a Chevy"

I gave her some fuel and four tires did spin Then they grabbed with the strength of the truck I was in

Ol' Ford started smoking and pulling so hard That I ended up halfway 'cross my neighbor's yard

As I backed off the fuel and gave a proud shout He declared that "No Dodge could have pulled that sleigh out!"

He thanked me profusely and the reindeer did bow To the Mighty Ol' Powerstroke, which was idling now

For they knew in their hearts that without this fueled might That there would be no Christmas this shivering night

He climbed in his seat and with a wave of his hand Those reindeer lurched forward across the snowed land

"I thank you again my dear newly-found friend For your hand and your heart kept this night from its end

And later this eve, warm and snug in my lodge I'll be thanking the Lord, that you didn't buy a Dodge!"
