My buddy has a TS chip that worked in his truck for a while and now all of a sudden its not letting his truck start and its not working. Basically we figured out its the chip is broken. What are his options with this? Are they repairable or exchangeable or anything?
It has Stock, Hi Idle, 50, 75, 100, 120. We tried it in 3 trucks and it does the same in all. Causes them to crank but not fire. No WTS light. It is def. a broken chip. Just wasn't sure if TS stood behind their product or not.
TS will stand behind thier stuff. My neighbor had one that messed up that was over 4 yrs old, sent it to them and they repaired at no cost but shipping there.
I had one fixed and it only cost me shipping. To have it re burnt for a different year would only cost $50 bucks. When I sold it I had it re burnt for the individuals specific truck. There are different applications for different years.
